Not calling you out. It's his passion project, and definitely a work in progress. I am still liking it, but I haven't played a wiz yet.

Besides I believe that to truly complain about something you need to experience it first hand, and I love to fucking complain about stupid shit. It's why I play Retail WoW each patch they give me endless bullshit to complain about.
Are the rumors about THJ actually trying to contact DBG to make it legal real like any actual evidence to back it up or are they actually just 100% rumors? I've heard they tried to reach out to DBG and they were just basically swept aside. I'm assuming it's bullshit because if they did do that DBG would have done a U-turn and been like alright let's make it legal and we take our cut.
I'm sure that will stop people... What are they gonna do if someone gets in and leaks shit on 4chan?

Captured some lovely conversation from one of the Suggestion threads on the Discord. Someone asking for more skin tones, even agreed with them on all races except high elf and dark elf since those are kinda lore coded and while I had some stupid fucks calling me racist because apparently not wanting the lore for EQ changed makes me want everyone in the game to be white, got some nice insight on what one of the mods thinks.
They actually locked the thread temporarily to "Clean it" The mod who muted me for 24 hours for calling someone a clown posted the rules and I asked him why it's okay for someone to imply that I'm a racist and not get muted but calling someone a clown is a 24 hour mute. They just deleted my response to them.
So remember everyone. Everquest Legends isn't Everquest. It's an entirely different game that uses Everquest graphics, spells, world, code, ect but they wanna change the lore so it's now a new game.

Trying to use EQ2 as an example of a "completely new game" shows just how braindead retarded this new group of EQ lorekeepers are. EQ2 was a new game MECHANICS wise, but it was the exact same world with the exact same history as EQ1. EQ2 just occurs after a world-wide apocalyptic event. All the history of EQ1 is the SAME history of EQ2.
Giving these morons money is anyone's decision to make, but you are basically throwing money at a Minnesota Learning Center.

This shit gets me heated lol. I don't give a shit about external politics, etc getting in a game as long as they are contextualized in the game world. Right now we only know of Erudites very particularly being black and probably Wood Elves / Half Elves being brown skinned. Great. So what would the in universe context be for Erudite black skin and how would that apply to the other races?
In the 'real world' it's an evolved trait due to living in high uv areas to protect the skin. Are they saying that beings in Norrath evolved? In fact, we know they didn't. Quick check shows humans came from barbarians which were mortal offspring of the gods using Mithaniel Marr's life juice (half for barbarians and half for fucking frogloks apparently). Ok great. so humans didn't evolve then why the fuck would there be black humans? Also, looking at the wiki Erudites are just humans who moved to Odus? So were all barbarians and humans black and something happened to make them white? Were they white and turned black? Then how? Is proximity to necromantic magic hell on your skin? Explain that and I shall grant the skin color slider, otherwise just fucking leave it alone.

It was /then/ but NOW Eq2 is a different timeline / branch because they kept making EQ1 expacs -- the timeline is EQ-Kunark-SoV-SoL-PoP->EQ2 as the events at the end of PoTime lead directly to EQ2, and EQ2 is kind of "the bad ending" lol
