Goddamn did I hate PoS. So many caster un-friendly mobs. Yawn. I never got my mage epic on Live because of my disdain for it, but did snag it on a TLE server once.

This is hybrid invocation (they stack with stances). I am proccing Shock of Swords on the regular now. It's a nice power boost.

Personal instances are live. Buggy, but live. Starting one up locks you out of all picks for 3 hours. The ones that are supposed to have respawns do not. Still better than having to deal with the unwashed filth and fighting for camps. Will try to get some quality hate time in later. No personal instances there yet, but I want to get my farm on.
Rituals are in. Get a porting class levelled ASAP. May take a break from everything else to just get a wiz high enough to port to all the major spots. Would be a fuck of a lot better for travel on everything else.

So its either a 3 hour lock on a dungeon that doesn't respawn, or you can create a normal respawning one and can jump between the 5 difficulties?
How DO you get to the planes in EQL? The portal door in Feerott is easy, but the others?

They're gonna have to fix that instancing problem. It'd be one thing if shit didn't just respawn, but if it locks you out of the normal picks TOO, that's fucked. How many people you think kicking themselves for self instancing LGuk, clearing it, then having nothing to do for 2 hours.

Hate is a sword at the top of spectre tower in oasis. Sky zonein is on a small island in E freeport sea.

Personal instances are working properly now. Just don't gate or die while in one. Getting /pick to work afterwards to get back in is still buggy. Got to 47. Once I hit 50 I will probably go hate life in Befallen to get some gear before I pop next life.

I am still rocking shit tier weapons from level 1. Footman/baron is quick and easy for 1 weapon, probably get it to +6 or so in an instance or two. Couple other decent stat pieces for my ber/mnk/dru I am doing next as well. Once my weapons situation is settled I will focus on hate for a bit and try to slay the dragons. Then a couple runnyeyes for a BABS and switch. Want to get druid to 50 asap for all the ports.
After that will be sky farming to unlock all the classes. At some point I want to get some races unlocked too.
They confirmed beta toons will live on as test toons when the game goes live. Need a sub to play on test in EQL, but not having it all deleted is a nice thing. Wish Pantheon was smart enough to do that, but that horse is dead and glue.

Aha, I see. I think its great they are adding desirable drops to lower level dungeons. But, its making things 20 levels higher completely pointless and obsolete. Like, the scythe off that lvl 16 shadow knight can end up stronger than raid gear.
So then someone will say "just make the lvl 20-50 dungeons drop better stuff". Well, now everything is too powerful for the difficulty so what's the point?

Well, the devs are going to nerf the befallen gear at some point. They said as much in discord yesterday. But for the moment they are useful.

asked above but never really got answer, are there powerful melee healing subs/systems like THJ or am I forced to have a healer in my setup? Or at least SK/PAL for their heal proc build
otherwise this isn’t even close to the fun THJ system. It’s just a holy trinity from original eq but instead of 3 people, or a 1 person 3box setup, it’s multiclass.

Shadow Knight, Rogue, and Paladin all have proc healing and spells while being powerful tanks and Dps. I’ve seen several builds running Rogue, Bard, and either SK or PAL.

Any class that has a heal or lifetap or rune can be paired with a hybrid for spellblade. But seeing as only war/rog/ber/wiz don't have heals or other ways to avoid incoming damage, that's literally 4 combos that have

War/rog/bask was murder on THJ or swap one with rng. It was just so much dmg and you could keep alive with AAs, augs, and the heal buff proc thing. That combo also had a cool backstab dmg calculation.
so I guess I got my answer, need something with heals, can’t do pure melee DPS
