People were streaming with ShowEQ up. I would assume that MQ2 for this exists.
Why not? Is open world targets not a thing?
I know personal instances are expected but will the instances respawn? Lockouts / how often can I make a personal dungeon / raid.

Yes, personal instances respawn on the same timers as an open dungeon and you dictate the difficulty level as well. At the moment (they just went in 2 days ago) personal instances are 3 hour locks. So, you can make a personal dungeon and then you have 3 hours until you can make another one somewhere.

Enjoying the hell out of instances so far. Got to 49 last night farming frenzied. Got 3x FBSS +2s out of it. Need some motes to beef them up a bit before I combine. It is still a rare drop off a rare mob, so I want to make sure I get at least +5 out of it. I know I'll get better haste items soon, but will still keep it for pet.

Also a good feeling to get those drops. I saw some +5 motes drop in streams today off of lvl 4 guk mobs.
Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet; do you have to do motes in order to upgrade an item? For instance, mote lvl 1, then mote lvl 2, then lvl 3....Or, can you just drop a lvl 4 mote to bring an item from 0 to 4?

No. You can just merge the same item into itself. Motes only work on items up to certain levels. It's in their lore info. Higher motes are worth more points. They probably go the same route 1, 2, 4, 8.

So being that I still haven't played the game, you should choose Dark Elf as a racial base. That way you have ultra vision from the start.

They pretty much have the worst stats unless you run a caster build. But, most races see just fine in the dark, everyone starts with a light source item, and the graphics aren’t nearly as unforgiving as original EQ.

The base functionality of the minimap is similar to show eq so that is probably what you were seeing. It has less technical info but still shows the dots on the map.

Ya I am a bard so the lowest tracking of the trackers and I can see all of pretty much every dungeon and like a third of some of the bigger zones like oasis etc.

I'm aware that they just basically copy pasted other EMUs, i played THJ. I know the difference. Was watching a guildie from a previous server stream to about 30 viewer that was using ShowEQ on top of that.
You realize when you say a streamer we assume someone on like YouTube and not some random guy in a discord stream.
I am sure showeq works fine if they aren’t scrambling the offsets and I am also sure none of the more well known eq streamers are using it on stream.
