It was a big mistake to let this many people into closed beta and lift the NDA.
A lot of people that tried this/watched it on twitch are not going to pay the price tag, sub or microtransaction pile for this at this point unless something dramatically changes. Its like a lesser more uninspired version of THJ.

I will say 100% getting a beta key early would burn a lot of people out before the release. Kind of a bittersweet thing. That's assuming there's not more than there is presently going to be added at launch like events, new dungeon rebalances, etc.
40k+ people requesting keys and I'd wager there's a few hundred in beta. They've done it right for making people hungry to play.

Those models are fine but the animations were done by a fucking retard. They all suck.Retards in Discord don't want the big knocker Luclin models to even be an option

Luclin + Classic means they have to do a bunch of shit to make sure MTX's work on both. Much easier to keep it classic. I prefer classic models, but if having Luclin as an option is always fine, until I watch some streamer and they have that dogshit on.

Of course they went with classic models.
They're flat fucking textures easy as hell to make new cash shop items that are just literal flat textures that wrap around a model. Hell you could probably ask an AI to make a texture for a classic Everquest model and it would be able to vomit one out quick.
Luclin Model animations were ass compared to the vanilla but the armor was so much better looking, but it was also layered armor. If you wore plate armor you had chain armor under the plate, you could see it when a corpse despawned the plate armor would despawn first. If you were wearing leather or Chain when your body despawns your character becomes naked but not textured so they're just skin colored.
Luclin models require a hell of a lot more effort to create cosmetics for.
