I am hoping the epics just complete to a +10. But even if they don't, I would imagine they will have best or just shy of for Kunark weapons once fully upgraded.

That would be interesting. +10 out of the gate. But, maybe that isn't enough either? Thinking of the warrior ones - since that will be one of my mains - those start at 14/24. If you +10 that it becomes 24/24 which is possibly a worse ratio than other options.

+x is not a static increase to damage. So a +10 epic could be as crazy as Secrets and Rogaine want it to be. 36/24, 48/24. Sky's the limit.

A +10 weapon simply has 2x the base DMG. A 30/40 base weapon with a 0.75 ratio will be 60/40 1.5 ratio at +10. There is no hidden formula that isn't known.

One nice thing is you will be able to take the proc/graphic off and take it with you to future weapons. So I won’t have to bando in Earthcaller for instance. The cleric epic needs to be changed to something like a battle rez at least though.

- Personal Instances will have charges to enter. These charges are shared between all zones, excluding raid zones.
(My cynical mind automatically thought "credit card charges". I would not be shocked, sadly.)

You guys never played free2play phone games? You'll have instance energy that resets every day or week or whatever. You'll roll up personal instances at whatever price until you run out of energy. You can now go back to open world or pay real money to buy more energy.

Instead of a 1 hour lock out no matter what (which is not difficult, annoying, or too little) they give you "charges" which can be used to spin up another solo dungeon instance within that 1 hour lockout window in case you disconnect, have to AFK, zone out by mistake, or w/e.

You have to wait an hour before you can spin up another personal instance. It was three hours, but was shortened to one. Three hour lockout felt too long, but the one hour is perfect really because you have the zone all yourself anyway. Just gotta be careful about what difficulty you pick. I once picked lguk d4 to farm fbss/ykesha+4’s and bit off a little more than I could chew at the time so had to wait to lower the difficulty.

I'd play it if it were a $20-30 box price and no subscription.
A subscription on an MMO is an automatic no for me. Mostly because it makes it so I don't actually feel like I own the game. If I decide to stop playing for a year and come back, it feels like I'm basically paying the box fee again. And for what? There are better games without a subscription, so why would I ever choose to pay full price for a game of this magnitude every 1-2 months in perpetuity?
It's 100% psychological though. I played Black Desert for a long time and probably spent more than what a monthly sub would've cost. But I can go back today and pick up where I left off without having to pay a re-entry fee.
