He's alive elsewhere. He's also a serviceman in the Navy I think, so he may be busy. He posted in another discord a week and a half ago. I'm pretty sure he just doesn't want to be tied to this place.

I got an email saying if I pre-order I can play beta. With out reading through whole thread wanted to know your guys opinion.
As someone who really enjoyed THJ, just so I could log in and blast through the old raid content solo. Farming gear/AAs, pulling entire zones and killing them down as rog/sk/shm. As someone who will just want to solo, will I get same satisfaction with this as I did THJ ?

He pops in the teek faceless discord from time to time. But I think its probably more what Xevy said, especially about this forum. As its gotten ridiculously more political, used to be pretty confined to general section , but slowly leaking into the game sections of the forums. Where I think the only thing that matters is whether a game is fun and worth the money, I could care less who is making it or if there is some kind hidden message in them(if you let such messages bother or effect your way of thinking, I feel bad for you).

You aren't going to be killing entire zones in one pull. In fact, if you get more than a handful of red/yellows pulled, there is a decent chance you will die. But the game is pretty similar to THJ other than that.

Probably. They're still tweaking the power fantasy part of it so I'm not sure in it's current state you'll be able to solo Raid bosses nearly as fast as THJ, but it's pretty much the same idea with a different way of evolving your items.
I'd say if you need it to be as fast as THJ you might not like it, but it's the same premise and mostly the same execution. It's still being balanced too so unfortunately we can't say what shape it will be in at launch and how much will change DURING pre order beta.

Since gamergate gaming has been political. It sucks, but until the proglibs are yeeted from the game studios en masse it will continue to be. Thankfully, like all aspects of communism, it is a problem that fixes itself eventually. Men are still the vast majority of gamers, and we like hot women in games, and will flock to games that have them front and center, and avoid games that make them frumpy (coming God of War game) or outright ugly (Concord, DA: Veilguard, etc).
Gaming is downstream of culture, which is downstream of politics. The industry got invaded by activists much like academia and the media. Once studios are forced by the market to go back to making games people actually want to play the activists will move on to new hosts like commies always do.

If you're expecting this to be like THJ. You'll be disappointed. Other than the fact it's Tri-class it's nothing like THJ in any meaningful way. It's much much slower paced, with far less build freedom, much weaker and yet slower item scaling, no free trade, week long raid lockouts that don't function as well and even on some group content, it's heavily slanted towards keeping you subbed and paying for MTX.

I hate many aspects of the reality we are living in. The truth is still the truth at the end of the day. The market is already working to correct this, since the DEI garbage has literally destroyed many gaming companies, and the industry will be back to making games fun instead of political mouthpieces soon enough.

Nah i remember what Yerm is talking about. It just wasn't the same thing at all. There was calls for censorship, but it wasn't nearly as impactful or on the scale the modern woke shit is.
Look at areas they were successful like MTG removing the pentagram from Unholy strength art vs what that game has now Black Aragorn, full on banning cards like Jihad and trying erase them from history. There was no "religious fundamentalist Karen's" Trying to co-opt the game to be about Jesus, but there is a bunch of woke retards co-opting the game and making it Woke.
