Huh? You don't just spend 4 hours in EQ getting some EXP in Crypt and then 2 hours straight yapping in OOC about all the cool places you're "exploring" in a 25 year old game? There is no way you are being serious typing that about EverQuest in 2026. Stop trolling.

/OOC GUYS I found a secret cave in field of bone!Huh? You don't just spend 4 hours in EQ getting some EXP in Crypt and then 2 hours straight yapping in OOC about all the cool places you're "exploring" in a 25 year old game?
Loser.

They absolutely will. They just did Najena yesterday. Make fun of S Secrets and Rogaine all you want, but they and their team are absolutely crushing it on getting content released. Makes me wonder why they are wanting to wait 6 months to release Kunark. You don’t think the other dungeons will have proper revamps with competitive or alternative gear?

MMOs are my primary hobby. A good new one is easy to dive into.40 hours a week on fucking EQ... good lord anyone spending that much needs sent to a fucking mental institution.

Oh, I know I'm an outlier in terms of having time to dump into a game. But you can really have any build to 50 in 15-20 hours, and by just dumpster diving d4 at 50 in Befallen for a couple hours you will have a decent weapon to +7/8 that you can use to start plowing planes and dragons with.I think a lot of people fall into this fallacy of calling activity hardcore vs casual rather than time spent. If you are super efficient and don't fuck around and max your xp or loot rate you are hardcore. If you spend hours jerking off in ooc or exploring you are casual.
This leads to situations like on eq tlps you have the top raiding guild's core players logging in a few hours a week to raid and maybe a few hours to xp and being WAY ahead of people in lower guilds who need twice as long to do the same raid content for less per-person loot, and end up way more involved.
Reality is, if you are spending >20 hours a week on a game, thats just not casual. When people (even here on foh) talk about wanting something casual, they mean a dozen or less hours a week. Not 40, not even half of 40.
sk/clr/brd would probably be one of the OP builds to start with. Use spellblade echo, and promised renewal and you will never die. BRD for mana/hp/end regen, haste, ds, and run speed. sk/clr/ber would be stronger in terms of kill speed, but at the cost of regen, which is one of the bigger things at 50. Berserker stance is awesome, but you do have to take breaks.haven’t really been reading the last 5 pages but sounds like everyone’s mad
so whats op right now at the end of closed beta?
i dont want to spend any time unlocking anything. i just want a build i can use and not change and do d4 by myself. dont care if its boring
dm me exploits plx
Point of order. You only need to level wiz to 23 and druid to 25 to get all the ritual ports.sk/clr/brd would probably be one of the OP builds to start with. Another thing to factor in is travel. You will want to level a dru or wiz to 50 for rituals, otherwise you will be running your ass everywhere. That is why I will be doing sk/dru/brd first life next week.
The most important things for doing d4 solo are calm and dispells. Everything you fight will be multiclassed and buffed to the hilt. Calm to prevent adds, and pull with your biggest dispell.

You can be any secondary classes. Only the primary class is dictated by race. However, getting your bard spells might be tough.I ran a SK/BRD/WIZ on THJ and seeing a lot of SK/BRD already but a quick question to ensure I understand.... If I'm a Dark Elf SK, that's fine but to add the Bard, I would need to faction grind or did I misread that somewhere? I've seen some mixed responses on how classes and race combos work.

Bards get sneak and faction boosting spells. You would need to go to New Sebilis for spells (they now have a quick as fuck rep quest that takes metal bits) and use sneak to get vendors to sell to you.I ran a SK/BRD/WIZ on THJ and seeing a lot of SK/BRD already but a quick question to ensure I understand.... GOODTheir "Custom content" is all lifted from other EMUs, EQ2, Old GM events ect.
Yup. BRD and BER are the meta primaries to start with. Unlock the rest once you get a meta build into sky.sounds like bards a good primary class, and just figure out the rest later
