Post a poll ... we can see where people are leaning possibly. Looks like Streamers are going Rivervale. Our old EQ server is going Freeport.
Serious question.

Do EQ streamers really make that much of an impact? I mean... they get like what... maybe 100 viewers? They're not streamers like Asmongold who logs onto a WoW server and the zone starts to crash because of a horde of morons flocking to his location.

Strictly my experience... its the community/followers that can be somewhat annoying. I don't expect the populations to be massive or anything so maybe far less annoying. You'll probably have a little more pop on Rivervale if that's where they go but then you'll have people just there getting clicks or whatever.

When the pond is small even a medium frogs croaks have weight, and nobody wants to be on a dead server.

Good to hear they are going Rivervale. I can cross that off the list.

Aren't you in a Beta guild? Are they not moving into live?

I might start up the FoH Legends guild just because it will piss some people off. lol
Yeah, they are going to Neriak. But guilds are just people to chat with in this game. If there is a FOH guild I will have a toon on every server, and am not opposed to dropping beta guild.

Ok, someone help this senile old EQ'er.

I got the Beta link download email. Clicked the email, which linked to an auto download of the EQLegends_setp.exe

I run that as Admin, and put in my own directory. Within that directory, looks like this:

No matter what I do, either clicking LaunchPad or running it as an Admin, nothing whatsoever seems to happen. Can't see it in Task Manager, nothing.

I've done the usual disabling of Firewall etc. The thing that works flawlessly is the Uninstaller. (maybe the universe telling me something?)

Is there a repair option? I saw someone mention that.

Whats in launchpad.libs? I wouldnt expect it to stop the actual launchpad, but the way they are most likely "preventing MQ" would potentially cause your AV to flag it.
