You can definitely download the files. I have it preloaded on my PC and on my laptop.
They do their authenticator so fucking weird. You have to put the numbers are the end of your password. The password limits they have are draconian. Only up to 15 characters, and you can only use certain special characters. I don't get the feeling their site is very secure.

It is every bit as secure or insecure as all transactions with DBG for EQ/TLPs. Your access to the EQL servers is governed by your DBG account.

Yes. DBG has actual experience operating as a payment processor for multiple companies. Secrets is not some high level hacker that would be able to carry out an attack on DBG, and they literally know where he lives if he ever felt the need to try.

This actually got me sorted out. I have been screwing around on the Ascendent Emu and running an old MQ2 Emu client. Seems I had left it running in the background. When I closed it out, the Launcher and file patching started working normally.

Personal vendetta against what Secrets or DBG?
I mean I don't have any I'll will against Secrets personally don't know the guy other than from Quarm discord where they got upset at me for not giving a fuck about Ukraine, I live in America I could give two fucks less. Other than that I'll joke about trans but I have no actual hate towards them.
DBG I fucking hate, I see them as a scummy company I'm pretty sure anyone with common sense has reason for hating that company.

Anything other than dbg handling the accounting is so wildly unbelievable that even if someone posted a "source" that said its NOT them handling the money, I dont think Id believe it. There was never any universe where the emu bros were gonna handle the finances.

When you signed up for the beta it went through DBG. When you preordered it was paid through DBG. It's exactly the same as every other game that DBG owns and has operated the past 20 years. This isn't rocket surgery.
