I remember trying to get the tutorial to run back in 99/00 and it would just crash, i dont think it ever worked when i tried it

The sad truth is that the whales won a long time ago. Even Vegas doesn't care about the plebes anymore. It's a pay to play world.

In this genre, they’ve definitely won. Others valuing action per second like fps, league, speed running…the dollar can not trump the high tism players. Sadly, games are going to keep shifting towards more of a pleasant hotel stay vs a wild ass contra fight into mother brain’s anus. We were truly blessed to grow up when we did.

As if this wasn't enough, they reduced exp a week before pre-order launch. Then reduced it even more for the pre-order. This may not be their intent but without solid communication and transparency, what are people left to think?

How does the xp rate feel now? Guessing it's so they can sell xp pots and bring it back up to what you had in beta. Also weren't 'loadouts' their solution to not having alts? It's not 1:1 with the alias system, but what does that mean for swapping out multiple classes?

I am having just as much fun as I was hoping for. Three people camping a Dervish Cutthroat camp in North Ro, classic. Level 10 mnk/shm/nec. EQ with all this QoL is exactly what I wanted.

Is this game any good and worth investing time into? So far I've made it to level 2 and everything is new and weird and scary. I'm an old ass dad gamer now I need my security blanket of knowing how everything works.
