So lame goat THJ still? Must have at least 1 of each holy trinity to do anything significant as I asked months ago.
In THJ, due to prices, buffs and general server you could pull off any combo at nearly all levels.

I keep reading posts about how Druid isn’t working, clearly would be better, buffs and profs don’t work, stances are useless. I can only come to the conclusion they saw the success of THJ, shut them down, tried to steal it, and missed the entire point.

ohh well. Neg me for bitching I guess but I won’t be paying them.

Which leads directly to the big question: when the fuck did druids ever work?
The only reason anyone has played a druid since like 2000 was because they wanted a porter to make money from tips. The class literally exists solely as a revenue stream.
There are most definitely complaints to lodge against this game but you focus on druids???? what the everliving fuck man

I went with Druid Shadowknight Beastlord. The weakest tank, weakest healer and beastlord gets complaints so is probably mediocre? I just soloed D4 Nagafen and D3 Innoruuk. I solo cleared D4 Fearplane last night. (not the bosses)

I would say however that class balance is a huge problem. The only reason more people aren't Paladin Monk Shaman is because they're not aware of it yet.

They have little time to nerf things before launch. People will scream bloody murder if thye nerf stuff after launch so hopefully they do what they gotta do before next month.

This sound like it was written by someone enviously watching Druids quad kite their way to max level back in the day.

Druids did also make great powerlevelers for low level chars. HP buff, Regen, Spirit of Wolf, Damage Shield ... off you go little one.

I think the philosophy they claimed was "no nerfs, but bring weak classes up to the level of strong classes." Which sounds nice on paper, but I doubt it is that easy: You pick any three classes that may or may not have hidden synergies, and fixing one class might make some combination of classes stronger than expected.

Also, nerfing things is stupid on that kind of server anyway: At the end of the day this is a nostalgia solo blast for most people, players that won't or can't commit to a TLP server, so I don't even know why they dont buff EXP 100% across the board and have people go at it. The carrot at the end of the stick is the gear farming and powering up system anyways, and killing things you needed a raid guild for back in the day.

The idea that you should be able to pick ANY three classes and faceroll content is ridiculous from a balance perspective. Needing SOME kind of role fill is not a huge ask. There's a middle ground between having a tiny pool of FOTM you need to pick versus nothing matters and its all the same.

Absolutely. I'd love if they added a chainmail or plate equivalent to the Befallen Pristine Studded Leather.

Timing is a bit shit though. I'm home sick and its pouring rain, but patches are what, 3 or 4 hours of the servers being offline?

It varies. They are pretty good at having them up on time or earlier. Just watch discord.
