Not playing. But watched a few minutes of some of the streams. Was kinda nostalgic seeing all the old character stuff running around, mostly ogres lol.

Secrets --- I bought this reluctantly because my friend's are playing. Bring back the big map so I can port straight to a friend or a way point. Make more shit droppable. Buffs need to last forever. THX

Same here. But I refuse to support the monetization scheme they've laid out for this game. When they get rid of the monthly subscription I might consider playing this.

So I'm a retard, is Berserker truly limited to axes in some way? Like if I am Pal/Bsr I don't get any berserker benefit if I am not using an axe?

Berserker stance and flurry are what Beserker bring, that stance is really good and only they have it. Sort of a one trick pony though.

The highest in that line, Odium, is worth upgrading. But Curse is worth getting a couple level ups on if you are actively using it until then. The damage on it is pretty nice. Any spell you are going to use for a decent stretch is. If you are doing d2 instances you should have a decent stockpile.

The main benefit is the stance. It is seriously OP as fuck. Best melee stance in the game and it's not close. The negative is you have to put a DW class in the mix to get max dps. BER/BRD/PAL would be a decent combo. BER/SK was one of my fvorite bases to pl other classes during closed beta. Could very easily rip through everything outside of raids.

SK/SHM/BER is my main trio and I'm near unkillable one on one. Between a leveled up Vampiric Embrace, Soul Abrasion, and the shaman HoT / direct heals + slow, things melt.

PAL/BRD/BST for me. It was A LOT of micromanaging early on between stances/invocations/melody/pet, but now that I have AAs in Symphonic Aura so I always have 3-4 songs going without melody, it's pretty nice. It's definitely not meta with the BST, but I wanted the Warder.

I like spinning up my own instance, turning respawn off, and trying to clear the entire thing. Did it with Befallen...can almost do it with Blackburrow. Unrest doesn't work because the key droppers don't always spawn, so you have to farm the keys first if you can't pick lock.

I keep considering a trio that includes Bard, but I can't get past the fact that most bard songs suck if you don't equip an instrument and I want to be able to dw.

Obviously with the bard epic that's not an issue but is there anything earlier that makes a bard without instruments worth playing?

You can take the effects off of all the instruments and put them into your equipped weapons or have a random instrument in your ANY slot. It works, don't let that hold you back.

Buy 2 instruments (like hand drums), combine them to +1, extract the percussion mod and put it on your weapon. Do the same thing with a lute and then you have most instruments covered.

Ya, the two ANY slots seem super powerful. I'm hitting things with a 2hnder and have a shield and wand in the two ANY slots for extra AC, resists, and clicky.

I see that you can take the Ykesha out of a Ykesha and put it in another weapon like ya'll are saying with the bard instrument thing. Are you able to still buy the procs from somewhere until you have access to stuff with good procs? I noticed there are like 5 slots on this +7 weapon I have now - one is cosmetic, one is to bring out the exultation or w/e - what are the rest for?

Also, the rituals from Wizard and Druid? Are those just the teleports? Havent played EQ in a while. Are you able to level up a druid or wizard as a third class, get those rituals, transfer back to the trio you want but keep the spells? Or am I just wrong about what Rituals are?...

I havent really had time to sit down at play so I'm only level 10. The guys that asked me to play are no shows, as usual.

Not sure about all the proc stuff...I've only done it with the Bard stuff and a Dispel Magic clicky that I added to a shield in my Any slot.

But yes for the rituals. Basically I switched to Cleric at one point just so I could get Bind Affinity and Gate. A lot of people are leveling up Druids/Wizards so that they get the rituals for ports.

And if you're on Qeynos, I can add you to a guild if you want. Guilds are basically just an extra chat in this game since we're not raiding or anything.

Bard/Sk/Wiz this go-round. I focused heavy on DD AAs along with singing mastery / jam fest. Have solo'd D2 nag/vox/yael at 43 and can delete packs of D4 mobs at AM/Lord with dirge. Had a crit for 5002 earlier, lol.

Buffed charm song is broken as well. At level 5 (I think?) it has a 90s duration and almost always is for full duration.
