Also, the rituals from Wizard and Druid? Are those just the teleports? Havent played EQ in a while. Are you able to level up a druid or wizard as a third class, get those rituals, transfer back to the trio you want but keep the spells? Or am I just wrong about what Rituals are?...

I havent really had time to sit down at play so I'm only level 10. The guys that asked me to play are no shows, as usual.

What server did you pick? Vast majority of us are split between Qeynos and Neriak.

Who's got a good XP spot or two for lvl 40-45? Seems there are too few options here.

Now that bard seems much more viable without needing to equip instruments in weapon slots, I'm curious if anyone here has experience playing one as part of a trio?

If so what trio are you using and how is the bard working out?

Bards are ADPS. They're absolute dogshit DPS (until TSS, but I doubt this server ever gets even close) and aren't really worth their weight unless supporting a full group of 6.

If this server allows them to get Fading Memories, they're the best pullers in the game.

Dirtyoldsocks on Twitch is running War/Clr/Brd. It's pretty much hands free against raid mobs.

They need to release expansion quickly or this is dead in a month. Their retarded custom content won't cut it. THJ until PoP was quick enough to keep their players, but I bet Secrets will waste too much time, sniffing his own farts. I don't mind slow release personally, but I have very casual dad playtime. Most should be done with classic in no time.

Yeah on THJ fading memories was the bomb/ Instant removal from aggro list and no CD you could just spam it. In fact it was pretty much on par with rogue OP sneak. They also allowed you to play like all the songs you could put on your spell bar,and they would jsut play indefinitely excep the dmg ones. If memory serves one was a rune/defense one that made you pretty much invincible and they had to nerf it. That rune defense spell is what made them OP. After the nerf they were meh. I guess they were useful in Aa farming with their PBAOE song too. But for bossing it was whatevs.

I'm 50 CLR/WAR/BRD in full raid gear and 115AA of which the bard owns almost half and it feels replaceable outside of zoom run fast. Definitely does all content, but it's pretty slow DPS for raids. Solid for grinding otherwise. I think it does really well in caster comps though brd/wiz/enc etc.
