Is it better to use that mage fighting stance?
Can't say for certain as I've never had it, but for this fight evasive was better than defensive. Defensive was my go-to for hard fights 99% of the time too.

The key for this is that the attack missing stops the big damage from the proc... So you essentially take 0 damage

He skims around them promising that you'll be able earn a couple more loadouts and that still isn't in the game.

Yeah you can use overchannel stance with slow to get a -150 resist mod on it. Useful for hard to land dots as well.

If you have FD alot of people would pre-debuff, FD if resist, and then attack, but I haven't really needed to do it that way.

The game isn’t that hard

On this particular fight, no. EoV main damage is a -400dd that works as a proc. For procs to land, you need to actually be physically struck first. Evasive stance is a 95% chance to avoid melee damage. Not being hit means you aren't getting slapped with the -400dd unresistable proc, which trivializes the encounter.

As mentioned, use Overchannel for -150 resists to get Slow to land. My Ench opens with Tash and then Shiftless Deeds 8 (additional -120MR check).
