I can't believe these absolute speds were handed the easiest, most obvious path to success (Release Classic, get each expansion out in ~3 months each thru at least PoP. Voila, about 1.5 years of nostalgic relevance before you have harder decisions to make) and tossed it aside to take a month to make one days worth of content. I'm more shocked that DBG didn't give them a development milestone path similar to the above so they could keep making money. Maybe there really is nothing left at Daybreak but CSRs and finance bros that have never logged in.

It’s literally just a dungeon zone. There’s an unlock quest line that is just a tedious 30 minutes of running around, and now that we know what needs to be done the quest inside the zone is a trivial amount of time more than just killing normally. It’s about like saying you finished running posky in one session, it’s not a ton of contentWait, are you saying they put in a full month laboring away on a fanfic zone... that you finished in literally one session?

Fucking embarrassing.

Isn't that helmet literally just the half elf plate helmet backwards?
Hold up are you saying this wax just a quick cash grab? No way!Ya DBG doesn't really seem very interested in making money. Easy lay up and they fumbled it.

Actually, its a cash grab by DBG, basically everything related to everquest is. It's not a cash grab by the legends' devs, though. They sincerely believe in what they're doing and want people to like it. Its kind of the problem for me here. If they were really just trying to make profits they'd at least be stuck in "what will people pay for" mentality and that can result in what I want, but when its "I like x and want everyone else to like x" if I dont like it, we're stuck.Isn't that helmet literally just the half elf plate helmet backwards?
Dear God this looks like absolute fucking dog shit use fucking AI holy fuck thats bad.

I doubt they'll get shut down, simply based on the fact that DBG rarely shuts down servers (no matter how badly they need it). It's going to be a glorious day when EQ Legends get shut down and David Youssefi and his merry band of troons and goons get what's coming.
I agree. DBG seems like they cling to anything they can milk even a low income stream from, while the devs treat this like their own personal ego validating playground (like Yerm said), making nonsense content at a pathetically slow pace compared to other emu servers. It's a formula for a virtual dead game where a good game could have been.I doubt they'll get shut down, simply based on the fact that DBG rarely shuts down servers (no matter how badly they need it).
I wouldn't be shocked if they merge low pop servers (all of them except maybe Freeport) though.
