I mean, let's consider the reality:
- I actually think there was a war called the "meme war" and that I'm a "veteran" because I "fought in it"
- OR that's just a silly fucking joke and you're a bit of a bitch for not having a sense of humor
We'll have to decide on our own which of those two options is a thing.
I'll also point out--in case it hasn't been stated enough, all of these conversations were in the context of a channel that had basically FoH style "no moderation" rules and in which most days we'd throw insults like that around and then laugh about them the next day. The "subject" of that image you quoted got upset I think because we started to hurt him in his fees fees and he was used to being the "edgelord" and didn't know how to react, but he's in an "emotional place now" so I'll avoid addressing him by name. I don't go around snippeting people's conversations, and the channel is long since deleted, but that individual expressed ideas in the chat that women aren't people, should be held as sex slaves to their husbands etc. So yeah, I'll be honest--people who talk that way I talk badly to, but because I don't make it a habit to screenshot stupid Discord convos I don't have the full context to share (nor is it really important, it only affects the participants in that channel.)
I'll also note this--not a single copied message of mine contained a single threat.
Instead I used phrasing like "this person needs to be killed" or "it would be great if this person was killed" or "this person should be killed." Those avoid direct address in a very deliberate way, and if you want to peruse the political discourse in the United States you will find high ranking, current U.S. government officials who speak the same way. You may also find them "clarify" later that "they weren't threatening anyone."
Saying you hope someone dies of an illness also of course, isn't a threat. It's simply a rude expression.
One of the dumb things about people who selectively copy messages from a guild discord, is you lose any context. These were conversations between guildies in a private discord. There was never once a day where people were just chilling and someone came in and said "wow I hope all MAGA die", instead any comments of that sort ever made were after a long back and forth in which
increasing absurdity had lead to a conversational tone of unseriousness. Ayonic who seems to possibly have autism, or at the very least "big bitch baby syndrome", the 2 total times he ever personally stepped into those discussions came off like a crybaby who thought he was observing something far more serious than what was actually happening.
You aren't a member of our guild and aren't in our private discord, so you actually aren't a stakeholder in this nor is your opinion informed on anything other than the selective quoting of a fat Mormon virgin who made a 90 minute crybaby video.
