I mean, let's consider the reality:

  • I actually think there was a war called the "meme war" and that I'm a "veteran" because I "fought in it"
  • OR that's just a silly fucking joke and you're a bit of a bitch for not having a sense of humor
We'll have to decide on our own which of those two options is a thing.

I'll also point out--in case it hasn't been stated enough, all of these conversations were in the context of a channel that had basically FoH style "no moderation" rules and in which most days we'd throw insults like that around and then laugh about them the next day. The "subject" of that image you quoted got upset I think because we started to hurt him in his fees fees and he was used to being the "edgelord" and didn't know how to react, but he's in an "emotional place now" so I'll avoid addressing him by name. I don't go around snippeting people's conversations, and the channel is long since deleted, but that individual expressed ideas in the chat that women aren't people, should be held as sex slaves to their husbands etc. So yeah, I'll be honest--people who talk that way I talk badly to, but because I don't make it a habit to screenshot stupid Discord convos I don't have the full context to share (nor is it really important, it only affects the participants in that channel.)

I'll also note this--not a single copied message of mine contained a single threat.

Instead I used phrasing like "this person needs to be killed" or "it would be great if this person was killed" or "this person should be killed." Those avoid direct address in a very deliberate way, and if you want to peruse the political discourse in the United States you will find high ranking, current U.S. government officials who speak the same way. You may also find them "clarify" later that "they weren't threatening anyone."

Saying you hope someone dies of an illness also of course, isn't a threat. It's simply a rude expression.

One of the dumb things about people who selectively copy messages from a guild discord, is you lose any context. These were conversations between guildies in a private discord. There was never once a day where people were just chilling and someone came in and said "wow I hope all MAGA die", instead any comments of that sort ever made were after a long back and forth in which increasing absurdity had lead to a conversational tone of unseriousness. Ayonic who seems to possibly have autism, or at the very least "big bitch baby syndrome", the 2 total times he ever personally stepped into those discussions came off like a crybaby who thought he was observing something far more serious than what was actually happening.

You aren't a member of our guild and aren't in our private discord, so you actually aren't a stakeholder in this nor is your opinion informed on anything other than the selective quoting of a fat Mormon virgin who made a 90 minute crybaby video.
Dude. Seriously. I didnt selectively edit your shit to destroy context; my only copies are what I sent in a discord dm, which is why it's the exact same one as your "scalp" screenshot. I also was not a "participant in that channel" for quite some time when numerous comments like that were made. IIRC you said something in an announcement like "if you missed (important eq info) go search my posts for it" and I did - I wouldnt have seen your shit otherwise. I had tried to just walk away from the channel, weeks later still on about me. I tried to walk away from the guild, but half a year later, you dredge me up again.

I never said anything close to that women should be sex slaves shit. The fuck even is that. Also nobody fucking cares about your politics, my politics, or anyone else's here. There's an foh politics section for that garbage. The problem isn't politics, its the suggesting murder shit.

As for culpability and your careful avoidance of direct speech or strong modals or whatever... who cares? I'm not trying to take you to court. I'm trying to avoid you. I'm not worried about you directly, I'm worried about some idiot who hears you and gets the wrong idea. Sorta like how zaide isn't worried about ayonic, he's worried some idiot who sees his video with zaides face over your comments will get a dumb idea and decide to escalate shit into irl.

I left the channel. I left the guild. Let it go.

Oh also just to add as this is getting spicy...

I was one of the ones being talked about and I didnt even realize until my attention was drawn to it. Most of faceless had no idea, and someone like zaide who is notorious for biting off too much and having to hand off responsibility every time he forms a guild? I HIGHLY doubt he was following the drama channel. The only time I remember him coming into that channel, he got absolutely shit on for what I thought was an innocuous statement and was "so youre saying" spammed. He wasnt a regular participant.

I understand being angry that it was allowed. I get that he is responsible. I said as much to him in DMs when I left. But he is not sieger. Those arent his comments, and almost certainly not his opinions either. If you're going after zaide irl like trying to get him fired or whatever... you're the asshole.

The funny thing, my real politics are probably significantly more conservative than people like you think they are. But am I really going to get super into that in a venue like the guild discord or websites like this one? Not really, I'm a meme war veteran, I learned a long time ago that you should never expect a rational, serious political discussion online. Are there venues where that occurs? Sure, it happens, but it's the exception to the norm.

My core political ethos is far more anti-populist than it is being "far left" or "far right", my policy positions are mostly a mixture of stuff that would be mainstream in Bill Clinton's Democratic party or George W. Bush's Republican party. I loathe populism of any kind because I am largely in favor of elites running the country and think the "common man" is a fucking plague that should be beaten with a club anytime it starts acting up.

My political arguments in Discord are almost entirely built around "if someone interjects a very low effort, low information nonsense I'm going to shit on them", and once an "escalation cascade" begins where they start saying dumber and dumber things, I'm going to say more and more incendiary things. I learned a long time ago, there's no "high road" in discussions of this nature.

The other thing is, essentially never did I randomly "start" a political discussion. They always popped off because our cast of low information guys would post some nonsense. But if they were posting low information Bernie Sanders shit, I'd have gone after them for that too. It's because the vast majority of EQ guilds are right wing, that rarely happens, it's no secret probably 70% of any EQ guild are righties, so just based on statistics the dumb shit is going to be posted from that side. I think far too many people are allowed to feel comfortable in sharing dumb ideas that never get challenged. One solution for that is for them to stop sharing their dumb ideas. The other is for them to be bullied into a 90 minute crybaby video if they can't stop themselves from posting dumb ideas.

In that vein, if people truly adhered to the "no politics" rule in a guild, I'd never discuss them. But I don't believe in typical "no politics" rules, where they are loosely enforced, so random mouth breathers drop turds of stupidity here and there and the "polite" guildies have to roll their eyes and tolerate it so they don't break the "no politics" rule. If you want a no politics rule it should mean you get like 3 strikes, 3rd time you mention politics gkick. Otherwise it is just a rule that disarms the reasonable in favor of the stupid and unreasonable. But BTW, no guild will enforce a rule like that because if your top DPS Monk posts stupid political shit 3 times, you're not going to gkick him, hence the problem.

tl;dr this guy's a massive faggot

I played with Ayonic on Mangler and he was nothing like what I see. I guess going to the top guild changes people (and I'm 99% certain he looked down on DPS racing guilds on Mangler and even made videos to that effect).

Man they really don’t make em like this anymore. Thats gotta be pre 2000 drama
I was actually super impressed that a post from 2004 had links in it that… actually still work!

Then I read the cybersex logs and questioned my life choices to this point
