Thanks for the heads up. Might get this one. It was an awesome movie for its time. I always enjoyed how they used the lighting, as a subtle way of showing the magic around Excalibur.

Uryens knighting Arthur was one of the first scenes I recall that ever genuinely sent shivers down my spine. Such an amazing movie.

Oliver Harper did a review about it not long ago:

Saw the Oliver Harper review as well, where he recommends sticking with the mono track.
From what people are saying, the multichannel audio seems to be carried over from the 2011 Warner release, while the mono represents the original theatrical mix.
So mono is technically the more authentic option, although there are still some conflicting reports from reviewers regarding the overall quality of the multichannel track.

I love that film, I think Helen Mirren in this gave me my first boner. However, watch the "Uryens knights Arthur" clip on YouTube, and fuck me, all I can see when I watch Cherie Lunghi as she watches Arthur run about is the Monty Python bit where the two guards are at the door to the wedding pulling overly dramatic questioning looks.

I assume no where streaming? I don't really do physical media much anymore and loathe spending $40 or whatever in something I watch like twice
