Screaming Trees.
overlooked, under-rated Seattle 'Grunge' Band. Every track on Sweet Oblivion is good, a very solid album. Mark Lanagen's voice is something special (he did a stint into Queens of the Stone Age, Homme previously played in the Trees for a bit.)

Right up my alley here. Was in highschool from 92-96 and college from 96-99.

Some of my favorites(that are a little off the beaten path, nothing obvious like Smells Like Teen Spirit or Wonderwall)


Stutter cracks me up...song about Daman Albarn's(Blur, Gorillaz) bedroom problems, sounds like he's a tad premature

Local Missouri band that just couldn't quite turn the corner of hitting it big, but had a minor hit(they were big when I was at Mizzou)

One of my favorite 90s band that never got quite as popular as they deserved

And of course, the band that sounded like Creed before Creed(I thought Creed was 7M3 when I first heard them)
