They probably wouldn't be suddenly raiding Jared's house months later unless there was some reason to suspect complicity from Jared.

It's pretty fucking simple. Dude mixed his shit with company files. The police are required to search all company files the moment it mixed into that side and then to find all possible victims. They don't go " oh we found a few, we will stop here since he tried to kill himself" what the fuck? Half the time child porn is from kidnapped children, and the police try and find them from evidence they find in cases in between the times they are shooting black people, and punching hipster bitches in the face.
