If Jared has nothing to do with this I feel really sorry for the guy. His rep is fucking destroyed now and Subway just cut ties with him. I don't see how they could possibly find anything on the guy even if he was guilty. They caught this other guy 3 fucking months ago. In all that time if he did have something you would think he would have burned it by now. Which is another reason he is fucked, if they don't find anything ,everyone is gonna assume he just got rid of it in the three month period.

That's my whole point. Why would they have probable cause now when they didn't have it three months ago, unless the focus of this raid was on Jared and not Taylor. If there was kiddie porn tied up in the shit from the Jared Foundation that he had nothing to do with, I'm sure he would have cooperated with the investigation immediately to clear his name. The police raiding his home three months later most likely means they have reason to suspect him of having his own kiddie porn.

He founded a charity that helps children fight childhood obesity. Even if he is not a pedo in any sort of way the reality is that his organization is going to attract these creeps. Also, his charity's very basic design means it probably has a ton of pictures of kids (non-porn) by necessity. Most adult weight loss stuff involves people wearing little, there's gotta be a bunch of legitimate pictures of fat kids without shirts and the like, making it both really easy for someone else to stash porn and/or feds to get probable cause.
My personal experience from working in schools and summer camps was you face a shit ton of education on dealing with predators and it's a constant worry for the people at the top to make damn sure they aren't employing pedos. Jared fell into money by eating a bunch of subway and making some shitty commercials, and probably had no clue what the fuck was going to happen when he started a charity based around children, and ended up with a bunch of kid diddlers in his employ.
If they don't find anything I will assume it's just due diligence because they busted a pedophile and he was the guy's boss and has a ton of non-porn kiddie pics laying around as part of the charity functions. Either way though fuck the guy, the only thing worse than a child predator is one of his fucking awful commercials.

Yeah my mother is a district manager for a subway franchiser in Wisconsin. As soon as I saw this break, I told her to dump her stock options quick because they are not likely to increase in value between now and when she retires.

But yeah, if this were about his pedo pal, the raid would have went down when that guy got busted. This must be something else. But I doubt a guy who made a career out of eating sandwiches is good enough to scrub his personal computer if he did indeed have some nasty shit on it. The internet never forgets.

Maybe you wait 3 months because you know that it's very likely he destroyed everything he had when his pal got arrested, but you also know that if you wait a while, he will gather some new stuff... That or it took a couple months to go through the pile of evidence they got from the first guy.

Because that's what investigators do. They take information, substantiate it and collect evidence. Then they take that probable cause to a federal magistrate and swear out a search warrant.

Because of this thread I went to subway yesterday. Jared's face is still on the menu. I'd planned to fuck with the people working there (nicely), but they were way too busy for me to make small jokes. I didn't want to trash their business or get a bunch of hostile stares from people who just want me to shutup so they can get a sub. Food was great!
