Gonna try the demo out and see if it’s what I want to play right now, love the 2d-he style of the recent dq remakes and Octopath games. Love the old school gameplay mixed with modern quality of life improvements, and of course the music is almost always great.

I pre-ordered it after the demo. I think the story is probably going to be generic save the crystals slop but the gameplay seemed to have the capacity to get interesting similar in a way to FF Tactics or 5. Hoping there are additional mechanics the demo didn't touch on.
