8 chapters and so far I am in Chapter 4. I think you could easily do it. I am doing all the side stuff too. I am about 20-25 hours in. I was more worried about getting this done before OOT comes out next week.

yeah agree I am going to finish it before next friday when OOT comes out. Or it won't get finished. But I am having so much fun just walking around finding stuff.

Dragon Maw is just fucking cruel, and not being able to port to the entrance on the island (iykyk) is mean spirited.
Also, I had to turn the voices off while grinding, I have no idea why developers think the characters need to be constantly repeating shit but it gets annoying fast.

Oh yeah, I forgot you could do that. I resigned myself to staying on that island until level 80, or I run out of tents, which ever comes first, and completely forgot you could teleport between the two save points.

Guess we'll see if it keeps going in a few weeks with OOT. Maybe a quality of life where Link can slice her in two with his sword.

Got my copy day one but finally getting around to where the demo left off. Enjoying it but the stagger for normal battles is a bit much. The combo of a few hits and dead enemies, along with those taking much more but the experience being less than the next battle where everything goes down without a stagger feels a bit unbalanced. I've played quite a few RPGs like this lately and was hoping it wouldn't turn out like that.
Minor gripe overall given this is closer to a back to roots FF and a 4, 6, or 9 which has always been preferable to me. I liked 12 but didn't think of it as an FF game.
Chapter 4 now so we'll see how it holds up until done.

My brother. 4, 6, 9 and 12 are my favorites too. Can’t wait to get Resonance. Loved the demo just waiting to get through the OoT remake before I dive in.

What are people playing this on? Supposedly PS5 has an actual physical disc version. Switch 2 is game keycard. I assume most are on Steam? I was leaning switch 2 as this seems fine for portability and I have a trip in January. Planning to spend the next bit with ocarina and galactic racer.

I've been debating between Steam and Switch 2. I'm only considering the Switch 2 because of it's portability which would be a nice feature for this game. It runs 1080p/60 on the Switch 2. My TV upscales really well so it's what I'll more than likely go with.
