Turn-based games are destined for mobile in today's day and age. The most you can hope for is classics like FFIX remastered (which you can also play on your phone). Touch screen will forever suck for action and turn-based doesn't take advantage of the controller (or keyboard).
The most you could ever hope for is a mode to choose in the game. Have the same game with all the cutscenes, non-battle etc. be the same but only change the mechanics of fighting. Imagine upon starting up your FFXV game you could choose "Kingdom Hearts mode" or "FFIX mode."
