and im told that the lead writer of this dumpster fire is a terminal TDSer who thinks anyone who voted for Trump or even Jill Stein is literally Hitler.I'm told the TOS animated series wasn't bad.

There is exactly 1 series I'd watch animated, and that's only because they could not do it any other way and that is Malazan Book of The Fallen.
Wait for the AI version. That shit would be wild. Probably not too far off for it either. There is exactly 1 series I'd watch animated, and that's only because they could not do it any other way and that is Malazan Book of The Fallen.
I bought the Firefly dvd set used for cheap and I shit you not the scene in the first episode where she's giving herself a sponge bath had been watched so many times that it skipped on the PS2? that I was using as a dvd player back then. I still have the box around here somewhere and I bet if I got the disc out looked at it with like a jewelers loupe I could tell you precisely where on the dvd that scene was stored.
I also never watched Buffy the vampire Slayer show it's the greatest thing since sliced bread
jayne is obviously gonna be nu-trans now-This guy (who is totally entitled to his beliefs...on his own time) probably injecting tons of partisan politics into it. How's he gonna work with Adam Baldwin then? Kill off Jayne in episode 1?

You call the show stupid despite having never watched it, cool. It doesn't get amazing until about halfway through Season 2 when everything it put together up to that point clicks together and starts paying dividends. It's a bit of a teen drama at times but it's better than it has any right to be. I liked Seasons 5 and 6 (of 7) the most, as by then the cast are all basically adults in the adult world.
While the back half of Season 2 is really good, and basically all of Season 3 continues to have a strong narrative throughline, I think Season 5 was my favorite. Almost every episode in Season 5 knocks it out of the park. One of the best seasons I've watched of anything. The only weak-ish points are S1 (hasn't really found its footing yet, the main character is kind of weak and timid and not a bad-ass slayer yet), S4 (mid-series lull because Whedon was distracted by launching the Angel spinoff), and S7 (they were running on fumes at the end, and Whedon was distracted by Firefly this time). But really, none of the Buffy series is actually bad outside of a few of the standalone monster of the week eps, and the middle 30% of S7 where the show was just flailing about waiting for the final arc to begin.

While we're at it, an awesome damn show was Supernatural - for the first five seasons. Then they ran it into the ground. You call the show stupid despite having never watched it, cool. Yeah, I don't know...I mean, it wasn't terrible. But the tone of the show felt very different after season 5. Obviously, this was due to the show-runner leaving. But, for me, it was never quite the same.I wouldn't say that. It had its story arc, finished it. But had a big enough following to continue into new chapters. Some of them were okay, some weren't. The monster of the week episodes were good. Some of the new chapters and characters were good. I could have done without their sloot mom and her fuck buddies. But the mark of khaine and purgatory arcs were fun. Bobby and Crowley were always great.
