Why does the country with universal bidets in all toilets also the country that's toilet paper is designed to instantly dissolve when it touches water?

Not really a shower thought just sitting here on the toilet waiting for my asshole to drip dry

I've noticed that sitting at lights, when the light turns green, there's a delay before the first car goes. And the second car doesn't go until the first car goes, often after another 2-3 seconds delay. The third car waits until the second car goes, and so on. I've been 20 cars deep in a light (today) and not even moving 20 seconds after the light turned green, because the asswipes in front of me wait 2-3 seconds after the car in front of THEM goes before they give their car 5% throttle and barely move.

I try to see when the car in front of me is going to start moving and I try to stick to them to minimize this slinky-effect delay. If everyone drove like me, how much traffic improvement could we see just from that one behavioral change?

I wonder how much of this is also that dumb auto stop/start shit in some cars these days so it takes that extra little second or two to get moving.

Could be contributing, but I started driving 35 years ago and it has always been like this, and they didn't have that feature then.

Do you perchance live in a state that does not allow you to use your phone while driving? I've noticed that here in NV and in CA & it's because these children that cannot be away from their phone for 3 seconds pick it up when the car stops instead of looking at the light.

Take a deep breath man. Half of them are delaying 2-3s cause theyre laughing at the guy who thinks hes in a race or something

To be fair, if you've never lived in a place that doesn't need stoplights, it's pretty nice. I occasionally miss some things that come from living near people. Traffic is not one of them.

Cad is apparently taking a shower at stop lights. If he can shut off the water and avoid the slinky effect, people on phones should be able to.

What we really need is an app for your phone that tells you when the light is about to turn green.

Gotta say, that sounds like a recipe for rear ending someone. What if they start moving then stop suddenly? The people waiting a few seconds will be ok, but people like you will be exchanging insurance information. How far back do you stop? Are you on the guys bumper, or do you leave a super dave safety length between you and the guy in front?
