On lap 20 and stewards are still trying to sort out all the stuff that happened turn 1 lap 1, lol.

Been an interesting race so far.

Yeah, I don't understand after all of that, only Lewis is penalized, and for the big runoff.

Anticlimactic finish w/ the yellow, but one of the more interesting first thirds of a race in a bit.

If you're subbed to F1TV, you can get the Sky commentary by going to the international feed (and selecting english if it doesn't default to it)

Sky actually agreed with the stewards on the Hamilton/Max situation for once.

If you guys missed it, there was a really bad crash in the moto3 warmup lap. This years champ plus another. They were airlifted and critical for a day but one is out and flying back to spain. The other kid took 3 days to stabilize and apparently had a few heart stoppages so it must have been really bad.

In moto2 it got shortened. My fave american Joe Roberts had a bad crash and redflagged. Hope he didn't mess anything up.

Looks like he's gonna survive. I think he lost his spleen and broke alot of bones.

I think Rueda only broke his right hand.

I was rewatching sky's mexico f1 gp, and noticed some very "blown diffuser" sounds on the redbull onboards. Anyone notice that?

My guess is they are routing exhaust to the floor somehow.

What a performance by Max today. Starting from the pits and ending up in 3rd. Seems to be Lando's championship to lose now. Lando is prone to having lapses so it isn't 100% sure.

I got to do a few laps in a nice sim racing setup ... and will probably be unable to use this shitty wheel at home ever again, lol. It was less about the wheel, but really all about the seat IMO.
