Was Dusk actually going insane? Was there a time-limit on the clones with dementia? I think that's what the ferret squishing was supposed to show, but the fact that he kept such a calm and composed look the whole time makes me think he was just sick of everything rather than cognitively declining. He knew Day flew the coop and was worthless as a ruler to begin with. He actually believed in Dawn and had a death star made as a fucking ascension gift for him. But in the end with Dawn MIA and Day ex-communicated he didn't want to hand over the reigns to some clones who merely had memories of their former selves. If Dawn hadn't gone spacewalking I think he may have been okay to step down and get dusted, although begrudgingly, but with no actual successor to the throne he thought he could kill two birds with one stone. Become God Emperor and save himself.
Demerzel is probably imprinted somewhere and unless I'm racist it looked to be like MoonBot Queen was Kalle, the writer of the folding book and Sheldon's former wife who helped create The Radiant. I'm guessing she did a little downloading when Demerzel tapped in at the Library. It also makes me wonder if she imprinted herself into the book or if it's some sort of 4th dimensional communication device like Sheldon's. Demerzel was the 2nd best part of the show so 100% chance she's coming back. Also didn't Kalle herself show up to pick up Human Harry during the 1st or 2nd episode and teleport his ass somewhere? He get TP'd to the moon to get a sick robot body? It's been so long I don't remember if we actually saw HumaHarry actually get laid to rest I thought the last we saw was Kalle showing up and going "check this out" and taking a whisper gate somewhere.
Lee Pace, like I said in an earlier post will show up as Crip-Emp. Whether he's under Bayta's control or allied with her or what, we don't know, but we're gonna see a wheelchair bound Lee Pace for sure. He's the best part of the show, generally, and with the infinite cycle of Emperor's it just lets them keep the best actor they've got while letting him play different roles as the same character. He's a stage actor so he probably loves this shit.
Wondering if the next season is Mule as Humanities "Savior" uniting everyone vs Evil Emperor trying to cling to power whilst maintaining "freedom" vs Robots trying to meld humanity into robots to solve their problem of humans making poor choices.
It'd be interesting if there wasn't a true good side and they made Gaal and/or Harry have to pick rather than just have them always be the "right" side.
