But... What does it mean? Google telling the NSA I look at tranny porn (even though the NSA monitors that too)?

I recommend duckduckgo.com . It's anonymous and based on Yahoo, so it's good enough. And if you really need other results, you use a !g before the search to search anonymousish with big brother.

TBH I thought this was going to be google's version of the South Parke episode for Apple, where they abduct people to put in death games so they have a greater appreciation for how technology improves their life.

No it's a search algorithm that flags offensive items and takes them out of the search completely. So over time they can police what is offensive and sterilize the internet. The scary part is when they start turning over your information to the cops who throw you in jail for saying the wrong words, like already happens in Europe.

Guessing i missing the negative point of the OP? From what I am seeing they are helping with anti DDOS for the little guys and allowing users to be LESS monitored, if I am reading the wiki correctly. Is there something else I am missing?

Google Ideas provided funding for the development which was carried out by the University of Washington and Brave New Software — the same organization behind the anti-censorship tool Lantern. The extension is intended to allow users to get more secure access to the Internet without being monitored.

Luckily i'll more than likely be dead from all the meth I smoke before it gets to that point in this country (at least aside from all the retarded little children (and yes I know most of them are technically adults/my age) who run around the internet threatening to rape and kill everyone who makes them mad or they blame for a loss in a game etc.). I'd actually get some kicks out of the cops arresting all the retarded fucks who constantly try to be cool by threatening to kill people on the internet and seeing what happens to them in jail if/when they talk like that face to face.

Google sucks now for searches anyways. Almost the entire first page of any search is ads/sponsored links.

truth, I miss the pre-netscape navigator days of finding the best parts of the internets on main street, slowly it was pushed to side alleys, and now its hidden in speakeasies. I miss the days when big bizz considered the webz a fad and didn't bother trying to wring a micro-shekel out of every click.

the world needs an top of the line open source search engine and real crypto-browsers to steal our tubes back from the greedy faggots.

The top 10+ are also generally top auctioned spots. Dirty Google secret, not sure now. Knowledge I have is from pre2009. Employer used to pay on that and was ticked when he wasnt top. Pretty sure all that is changed but I bet Google still accepts the white envelops full of cash. It works the other way to hide things also. Companies pay to bury things they cant Copyright right on.
