That last picture is the cover for one of The Black Company books by Raymond Swanland. Great artists and series in my opinion.

How do you figure that? If anything, it's Mario that gets beaten into the ground and shoved onto every possible piece of merchandise and promotional material. It's pathetic how inescapable Mario is, especially in comparison to Zelda.
