^ Technically also the Arc de Triomph, but this one depicts Napoleon's victories of 1806. It sits right in front of the Louvre, which has to be the worse place in Paris. So many people. Keep one hand on your wallet.

Eiffel Tower from the far bank of the Seine. Don't get any closer than this. Not worth it.

This was a really cool cinema in a neighborhood near the Ile Saint-Louis, on the southern bank of the Seine. Really nice neighborhood.

Les Invalides, the old military hospital/armory. Napoleon is buried beneath the dome. There are also several dozen tattered battle flags from various French armies/regiments from down the years.
