Seriously. The sport with the shortest season gets year round coverage and half of it about the player's lives. I can't turn on sportscenter without seeing this idiot's face every half hour.
I know the Astros are just sitting around eating whip cream right from the can in the off season but how about a little update now and then?

Hockey is amazing live. It's the worst major sport to watch on TV tho. 90% of the people who are "casual" sports fans cant find the fucking puck, have no idea what icing is, and is less than excited about the terrible announcing that goes on. Also, when espn force feeds you melrose down your throat for the 3 minute segment sportscenter gives hockey, you cant blame them for never wanting to give it a chance.
That's the truth. I've been to Joe Louis several times to see the Wings in both regular season and in the playoffs and it's fucking amazing every time. It also benefited the most from HD television I believe, but for sports on TV nothing can approach football.
