In the spirit of Boozecube's food derails....
I was driving back from the state fair with my kids, stuffed to the gills full of corn dogs and mini donuts, and I joked "let's go to dairy queen and get a blizzard!" Then we started talking about how it'd be great if we didn't have to go to DQ to get soft serve, and getting a home machine would be ideal.
My oldest pulls up Amazon and finds they are as cheap as $129. Cool deal. My birthday rolls around and this fucking thing gets carried off the truck by 2 guys.
What in the absolute fuck am I gonna do with this thing? It's like 110lbs. And taller than the space under the cabinet!
Turns out, this is not the $129 model. This is a commercial grade ice cream party type of thing.
Also, as it turns out, being able to just make a cup of soft serve is fucking badass.
