This should be posted in YGWYFD thread
Anyone who joins or buys a house that is governed by an HOA gets what they fucking deserve. Stupidest shit I have ever heard of.

Back in '73 when we moved into our house someone here tried to start a HOA. No one in the neighborhood was interested and my Dad said he wouldnt join if they started one. Flash forward to today and I am probably the last resident of the original neighborhood left. Still no H OA.

The XB Coupe built for the films had a non-functional supercharger.

The whole thing about it 'turning on' was a separate electic motor.

Also, Ford Falcon/Fairlane XB Coupe is one of the most expensive Australian cars you can buy these days - I have seen them for sale over $200,000 AUD...

Damn boomers.

Legend was the original film car from Mad Max was left abandoned in the desert because it was trashed by the end, it was years later retrieved and some Middle Eastern Oil Towel paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for its rusted shell.

Can't find a Google confirming that old story.

The Road Warrior one is in a US car museum I think. Well one of them, there have to be multiple cars on those movie sets.

Yep, the car from the first movie (Mad Max) was an XA 4-door, from memory it had the 351 Clevo

And yeah, it was demolished and left near Broken Hill (Where it was filmed) Not a lot of rain out there, so it was still there after about 10 years and someone collected it and sold it.
