My old boss owned hotels on the beach in SC. When hurricanes came they would put all the pool chairs in the pool . Also I rode every hurricane between 99-2008 out ocean front at those hotels. Had a beer in one hand and half a grill in the other. Could not let the grill go as it would fly away. Owner would cook for the weather crews and let them stay for free if they put the hotel(s) in the shot. Wild shit.
