I mean the boys is a raunchy parody of a super hero show which is already suspect. But then you throw CW level actors into a spin off. You go from bottom of the barrel TV to under the barrel.

Yes under the barrel. As in with this show, the barrel is riding on top while getting fucked by an octopus because some supe has the ability to change into inanimate objects.

The show takes it to that level...

Its like if you took out every male from the boys, and and kimiko then just had Starlight, Maeve, sister sage, and fire cracker sitting in a circle talking about how to take down Vaught constantly with CW writing

And occasionally dick and balls thrown out every episode. The only males on the show for the most part is the Tranny Indian thing and the big mean dean of the college

Honestly, dumb youngsters aside I think this season is pretty interesting story-wise. Cipher is a pretty interesting character and quite funny, even if the "twist" can be seen coming from miles away.

I agree however that there is a complete unbalance in the balls to tits ratio.

Yeah the "twist' is extra apparent after the last two episodes, but the real interesting thing will be whether they're doing it to take down Homelander or just some faction of Supes to potentially rival him for control.

Marie needs to channel her blood shit, and cant instantly explode someone. Homelander would laser her ass in half a second. Cipher was controlling Jordan from the VIP Suite at the fights. He did so in what seemed like immediately. Cipher would control Marie at the same rate.

The crux for Cipher that they seem to have thrown in there is that some people resist it better? Where as Jordan didnt or couldnt?

If Marie is able to trump all of this shit - then they need to ramp up her ability in the show. Because right now, it looks just as dumb as several other parts of the show.

Marie didn't have to channel anything when she exploded Cate's forearm, it was just reflex. She's only channeling when she is trying to do something carefully (like not exploding the goat), and even then it's clear she's holding herself back involuntarily, with the useless hand gestures (per Cipher), she could be doing all this much more quickly if she let loose.

In fact, she says in episode 5 she felt she could have killed everyone in the arena when she was angry and focused on Jordan being puppeteered by Cipher. And now we know she's also able to manipulate blood back into someone's body and restart their heart / heal their mortal wounds.. and the teaser for episode 6 shows her sister with apparent super abilities now so maybe she is even able to trigger something in normal human blood to make them at least temporarily or permanently super-powered.
