I was starting to wonder how that played into their whole "Everything's an Xbox" campaign, but since I don't keep up with what next retarded move Microsoft makes, apparently they silently took that behind the shed under the pajetress.

But I guess they never considered how going so hard on, "everything's an Xbox," and then pulling a 180 only few months after makes them look even more desperate and schizo.

A lot of that female boss bitch stuff in games isn't necessarily Xbox decision. A lot of video game development companies are gayer than the people who make the systems. I do think the new Xbox CEO isn't going to push that shit at all but will have to wait and see.

If GOW 1-3 came to Steam id pick those up in a heartbeat. They won’t, bc Sony was surprised releasing 3 year old games at $69 didn’t sell somehow.

Sony is about as retarded as MS, but specifically on how they bungled PC ports.

First, they didn't even really need to put their games on Steam if they put forth a tiny bit of effort into their already preexisting Playstation (Now?) application and just set it up as a unified platform between a user's PC and Playstation.

Start working on easy-peasy remaster ports (not remakes) of their classic catalog to sell on both PC and console to drum up hype and free advertising for the PS4/PS5 games, but equally important, create a sort of familiarity and brand awareness outside of the Sony-only audience.

It's no surprise that an entirely story and character driven series like Uncharted went out like a wet fart on PC when they never bothered to port the original games and really thought people were going to shell out for the fourth (or whatever) game in a series.

Even the delay tactic bit them in the ass because the cat was out of the bag well in advance with how woke the Spiderman sequel was, and Sony's marketing drought left zero awareness for when any of theses PS games really did come out on PC.

Frankly, I still don't know exactly which games are ported before they suddenly quit - besides the Demon's Souls remake, which again isn't much of a loss considering how they butchered From's original vision, anyways.

I can’t handle more than one minute of that. Man, I can’t handle streamers. I can’t handle watching someone else play a video game longer than about a minute. And that’s for a tip.

I’ve had one exception and that was watching some of Mathil’s PoE build videos.

GoW and most campaign style games are for dad gamers and stoners. They're after kids bedtime/work at footlocker games you sit there and mash minimal buttons and upgrade your gear to mash buttons slightly less. That's fine for people who like that, but they're just a smidge above those full movie games where you do nothing but choose a character decision and walk around. People try to say "OH yeah but on INSANO GOD MODE ITS SO FUCKING HARD", but Kevin, you're playing on normal because "you just care about the story".

I see games like GoW about two rungs above shit like Animal Crossing realistically. They're alt-comfy games in which you just happen to be slashing demons to death with an axe.
