Why wouldn’t I refund it if I had the option, don’t want that shit to happen then make your game a little longer, wee harder, and add some replay value or depth or both. Learn from this mistake and make the sequel better.

edit; reading the comments it seems a lot of people don’t understand that games and movies are two different experiences with different desired outcomes.

This is a seriously fucked up perspective.

Unless the game is a huge rug pull with credits rolling unexpectedly before the game can actually come to a natural conclusion, there is absolutely no justification for refunding a game you played to completion. The two hour window was set with large games in mind, to control for games that have an extended tutorial period before you can actually experience what the game really has to offer.

I guess it depends entirely on the premise of the game and what info you're given. If you know up front it's a very short game then you are the retard. If there's some misleading about game length then the dev is the retard.

Calm the fuck down, take whatever 2 hour long game you are making and MAKE. IT. BIGGER.
Anything that can be beaten, with zero replay value, within 2 hours of purchase should be free or maybe Steam shouldn't offer refunds for games 5$ and under.
I want 1 hour for every 2 dollars I spend on a game, 1hr/1$ for dlc, and I don't give a fuck what stupid names you want to call me.

I mean its $5. A beer you drink in less than 30 minutes is like $8 today. Mass refunding here is quite gay. The game being super short is also quite gay.
