I clicked this link just in time to see Paralives... where multiple gay and poly romances fall to pieces in several seconds.

Who is this game being marketed to? Hahah

Normally I'd be jumping out of my skin at an announcement like this, but after watching the video, what a letdown. Don't own a console, so no interest there.

From the Steam page:
"A Relic, Restored: Everything you loved about Neverwinter Nights 2 has been preserved. Enjoy smoother gameplay with refined camera controls, polished mechanics, enhanced textures, and full controller support with a newly designed controller-specific UI."

Barely looks any different from the original, perhaps some AI work done on the textures? Not paying for that.

This is gonna be the true "some games will not sell at 80 dollars lol" moment
I liked Outer Worlds but at like 30-40 bucks max. No way In hell for 80.

You just described all of the DnD game enhanced editions. They aren't remasters, it's mainly a playability/accessibility thing. The original Steam version of NWN 2 has been delisted since 2012 and doesn't even work right for some of the people who own it.

Yeah, well I didn't know that because I've never bothered to investigate them until now. Only peaked my interest because NWN2 is my favourite RPG of all time.
I still have the GOG Complete Edition (all expansions incl. Mysteries of Westgate), and it runs perfectly fine on my new PC.

Nevertheless, still disappointed to find this is little more than a "nothing-burger".

Demo out for Vindictus: Defying Fate. Seems to have a lot more too it than last years play test:

Also, outfits.

It's also a way to inject a little bit of woke into the old classics via some extra DLCs or such for the "enhanced editions", just like with siege of dragonspear for BG

pc gaming show.

The show doesn't run a full minute before they introduce a game with characters using they/them pronouns.

Also, when I was a kid I was intrigued by British accents -- as an adult, I am repulsed by them. What a completely lost, cucked nation.

This 'remaster' has been speculated to exist for over a year and I'm glad it's here because I never purchased it on Steam. I have the hard copy, but I haven't built a PC with a disc drive in nearly 10 years and I'd like to be able to easily install it even if it's not much of an upgrade over the original. The textures look better but they're not amazing. The game does look a lot sharper though and that would be greatly appreciated. The muddy graphics of NWN 2 have gotten really hard to look at in recent years.

I genuinely love NWN franchise because I'm simply a D&D nerd and the mod community is extraordinary; they give these games hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of extra life.

I'd buy it on GOG unless you want Steam Workshop support.
AMD sharpening (CAS) bundled with Reshade already works wonders on NWN2, as it does with pretty much every other game on the market.
Damn, getting the nostalgia vibes all over again =)

Tried the demo, honestly it seems pretty good, big question mark obviously being the monetization, seeing as how this is Vindictus by Nexon. I didn't do everything cause I didn't want to bother playing an alpha too much but cleared the first big chapter, bosses were pretty fun, the char I played(2h sword girl) was also nice and the parry/dodge system was nice enough with some amount of animation lock but some cancels too. The game looks really good and ran well enough considering how it looked, not any graphics options atm it's just a preset, had to lower it to medium for 4k 60FPS on my 3080 which I think is ok and medium looks a lot better than some other games on high. As for the booba, I had the slider I think at like 40% and they were still fucking huge, maybe cause I picked the thicc preset. Thighs the size of a tree. Classes are gender locked though like the original, so can't play big booba dual wielder or male sword and shield.

Pretty surprised they made a fairly high quality game, but it could easily be ruined by the mmo/monetization elements which they haven't talked about yet, so I'll wait and see.

RE8 is on sale for $15 right now.

I didn't play RE8 because RE7 had dog-shit writing and the first person view. I love FPS for shooters but that's about it. But, Deadspace and RE2-3 are some of my favorite games.

I heard RE8 now has a 3rd person mode. How is it?

is it me or every game has now a simple white logo with their titles, or just a bland white title ? is this a new fad or am I just noticing this ? (sorry for the low quality collage)

"please give us $80 to lecture you on how capitalism is bad for 20 hours"

Not to defend this thing in any way, but it's truly amazing that we're able to get AAA games for $60.
GTA6 will end up with dev costs of what? 1000x more than SMB3?
Sometimes I stop for a second and ponder what an absolute beast of a money-printing machine Nintendo was in the 80's.
