Speaking of game costs…
I remember when arcade games were .25 cents, but Dragon’s Lair came on the scene either its $1 per play.

Yea, the game feels more polished than last years play test, plus with a lot more content. The screenshot I posted was using the default "thicc" preset, those booba are massive. Funny thing is that all the female npc's had big booba too, especially the Bar owner (Shayla). Been using Fiona and Delia mostly. Fiona is just really fast attacking with a Guard / Perfect Block, while Delia is a bit slower using a Parry/Block and Dodge (she does well vs. Bosses, imo). Didn't care for Lann as he has no Block/Parry at all, gotta dodge spam. I wish they had add a Ranged class.

I doubt the game will be out this year, so I'm going to do all the content they have available here and get all the outfits / finish the battle pass. Never played the first for more than 1hr (ugly as fuck environments), but I'm guessing this will be F2P with a Shop for cosmetics, monthly pass, season pass and rng boxes. Lots of Pay for Convenience.
Downloading now, is this a fantasy First Descendent?

It horrifies me thinking back on how much lawn mowing money I gave away between that and Gauntlet.
That and Rampage, fucking loved every second of it. I was there when some “old dude” beat dragons lair, as I kid I remember it being glorious. Like the perfect Saturday morning cartoon you could control. The crowd was massive and everyone cheered and gasped at every scene. Dude must have felt like a legend…

Also the D&D game, Tower of Something? The golden age of arcade co-op side-scroller fighters was amazing.
I also wastes an ungodly amount of side scrollers from 1943, to rtype and a bunch of others of that type. Also metal slug and all the variations of that type of game (there was a western cow knock off that this spaghetti place had that I'd play all the time)

Tower of Doom and the follow-up Shadow over Mystara. They're on Steam together as Chronicles of Mystara.

and yes they are straight up unapologetic quarter eaters. IIRC they at least had the courtesy to make the ancient red dragon an optional boss in Tower of Doom but then brought back more or less the same fight but made it mandatory in Shadow over Mystara.

The Alpha demo is pretty good. You're starting kinda late as it ends in a couple days, I think. It certainly out classes TFD in terms of skimpy outfits and what you can do with body sliders. I found the combat to be quite fun. Hope they can make enough content by the time they release it in a year or so.

Hell yeah I played the shit out of offroad at an arcade that was 8 bucks to get in and all the games were free. Fucking loved that place, had some true bangers but nothing modern at the time. Was mid 90s, with 10 bucks I had enough for a couple sodas and would spend 8+ hours there. Nostalgia is strong today.
