Anyone got recommendations for my 8yr old daughter? She's mostly done switch games (beat Mario Wonder, does Mario Kart, and a bunch of dance games that aren't relevant) and Tycoon games on Roblox. I was unironically looking at Hello Kitty Island Adventure for her, but it seems to turn into a daily quest grinder pretty quickly.

It’s older, and a Zelda clone- but really really well done - and presented in a “princess bride” trope style.

Blossom Tale

It’s on sale often…like now on Nintendo!

I'll see if she has any interest in that. I was going to see if she wanted to go thru the Cat Quest games, since we own 1-3 and I played them with my 5yr old on co-op.

Tearaway Unfolded on PS4, creative paper craft world where you do a bunch of stuff with the controller (before the switch came out) like draw on the controller touchpad or use the PS App on a device for a bigger canvas and things you make go in the game (eg. draw wings for butterflies like trailer below)

Rayman Legends on all platforms, great visual style, very colourful and has easy co-op drop in drop out. The good thing in co-op is it's forgiving nature if one person gets hit, they get balloon inflated and the surviving member pops them back to carry on.

Heave Ho on switch E-Shop, silly fun for the family even if they aren't gamers. 1 joycon per person. The bigger game is all the communication that takes place in the living room and how animated everyone gets.
