I know I had an NES as a kid, but the only games I remember owning were the SMB/Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet cartridge and Tiny Toon Adventures. I gave it to my childhood babysitter when theirs broke, probably because I had moved on to SNES mostly. Luckily my mom kept that and most of my games, then gave it back to me after I bought my house. I bought a broken NES off ebay a few years ago and fixed it, then got an EverDrive to finish a bunch of the games I never did as a kid. Also bought a few of the classic SNES games that I didn't own to add to my collection and play.

I can think of a lot more things that I regret throwing away than things I regret keeping, but I probably do keep a lot of stuff I shouldn't. I have a bunch of boardgames I haven't even opened. Comic books and trading cards I'll never read/look through. I don't want to trash them, but I don't have the drive to sell/ship them.

Emulators and ROMs for all your old console game needs.
For convenience yes, but it just doesn't feel the same sometimes.

If they are first party Nintendo games or JRPGs it is going to be more like $50-$200 a game. Definitely worth driving over to a used game store.
Oh wow, really? Can't believe the old systems and games are in such demand.

well, tonight I bought a few snes games to add into my collection.

I know I always see Soul Blazer on top snes games lists. I just did not like that thing. I’m about to try illusion of Gaia.

Illusions of Gia is an awesome game, its a wonderful kid going on an adventure and growing up during it to reach adulthood.

Man, I remember getting I think a demo copy or maybe it was the full game of heretic from Sam's wholesale back in the day, you know when they used to sell box computer games on floppy disks. And may have actually been a bundle of it and Hexen because I used to sell a lot of bundled things with just the plastic wrap keeping the two boxes together. That's how I got most of my old SSI d&d games for dirt cheap. You'd get like four or six games for 25 bucks or something.

Guess it was just pushing old inventory out the door, and Sam's would scoop it up. What's this always fun though go in and see what they had available. It's like the old school version of a steam summer sale.
