It looks interesting but $20 is a little much for me to try out a roguelike/lite when there's a ton of $10 options out there.
Idk man, that many overwhelming positive reviews, it’s probably worth $20 or more. Think about how much $20 really is nowadays. I spent twice that taking my wife out for breakfast this morning.

Woooooooooooow. Greatest game gets new stuff out of nowhere! Are they still working on it?
No, it's just a mod by three dudes. No idea how much they can even change/add. BG 1/2 had a decent amount of mods, but PS:T seemed more difficult to mod (or there wasn't as much interest in changing it). They estimate the full project will be done in 2031...

There will never be (good) official xpac/DLCs for these old games. Black Isles is long dead and the IP holder of Planescape, Wizards of the Coast, is 100% trash.

Also, here is an interview with the mod makers:

Yeah I was going to post about this mod until I saw the 2031 date, that sounds like old school vaporware to me.

2031 would be faster development time than 7d2d, which went into EA in 2013 and officially released in 2024. It would also be shorter development than Project Zomboid which also went into EA in 2013, is still in EA, and probably won't be officially released this decade.
