If I could play Battlefield Six on linux, I 100% would switch over to Steam OS or Bazzite.Box seems weak but this will convince developers to optimize for steam OS with these specs.
Maybe we will be able to drop windows with our gaming pc's?
Are we the same person?!Are they bringing back that controller? Looks like the one they briefly had like 10 years ago. I bought two of them when they were blowing them out for like 5 bucks and never even used them.

Yeah, 4k with only 8GB ram kinda requires FSR even if the video chips could handle it natively.those hardware specs are very blah

Only fucktards spend $2500 on video cards

Phew, I think mine was $2499.Historically the mass market was always mid, concerning PC and video card. Only fucktards spend $2500 on video cards, lol. IMO. Realistically that 3060 will run pretty much entire steam catalogue no problem at 1080p even some on 1440p with shit turned down with decent frames, 60+.

You can already do it for the most part. Since Valve came in with Steamdeck, they've put a ton of work into the pc gaming space for Linux.Box seems weak but this will convince developers to optimize for steam OS with these specs.

Apparently the VRR can run games natively as it’s own OS, so I assume so for your pov videos. Will the VR be able to watch videos without a PC?
Asking for a friend...
Have they announced any pricing at all on any of the hardware?Apparently the VRR can run games natively as it’s own OS, so I assume so for your pov videos.
Well sure but I guess my point was that this box will only help to increase the efforts to break away from current day windows. You can already do it for the most part. Since Valve came in with Steamdeck, they've put a ton of work into the pc gaming space for Linux.

It definitely will. This is the perfect storm of Windows 11 being shit and Microsoft continuing to improve on it being shit. The timing for this box is perfect to help people make the switch if they want. Valve won't give up support on it anytime soon like Google would if they made a box.Well sure but I guess my point was that this box will only help to increase the efforts to break away from current day windows.
Now you just release SteamOS with a $100 steam gift card and watch as windows systems disappear. It definitely will.
