Dragons have 2/2/2. If it only has two back legs and two wings, it’s a wyvern. I’ve seen those called drakes too, but I’ve also seen two arms two legs called drakes.

Correct. Drakes 4 legs no wings. Wyverns 2 legs 2 wings. Dragons 4 legs 2 wings. Then you got eastern varieties which you can have 4 legs no wings but still fly ie cloud dragons or 2 wings no legs.
Folklore > Tolkien > dungeons and dragons. That's it. Just because fatman grrm wants to make a mythical fire breathing animal "realistic" doesn't mean hes right fucking up the nomenclature

I’ve never watched more than the first episode of GRRM. I didn’t finish his first book, once it got to Cersei killing puppies on page 100 I noped out.
but I know From Software also has 4 leg / no wings are considered dragons or wyrms.
all in all, each individual universe is going to be different. Tolkein considered orcs and goblins to be the same monster, but D&D or Warcraft consider them two separate monster species, etc. it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s consistent within each individual world.

I’ve never heard of “sword and sorcery,” before but after watching a few videos on it and doing some research (comparing it to high fantasy, and to dark fantasy) I realized something.
previously, I thought I didn’t like fantasy. I do like dark souls (dark fantasy). But I just realized that I actually prefer sword & sorcery.
I’m adding to my reading list Conan to dip my toes into sword & sorcery literature.

Read the first law series by Joe Abercrombie. It’s nice and dark, lots of grey characters, very gritty. If you do audiobooks instead of reading, it’s top tier.

Sword and Sorcery is far more realistic (in as far as human motivation aka greed) and gritty. D&D started as a sword and sorcery game which if you have read any of the basic or first edition stuff you will notice it is vastly different than the D&D of today. S&S is generally much more enjoyable than most fantasy in my opinion.
Conan was sword and sorcery as well originally.

Song of Fire and Ice (GRMM) is something you are frankly better off not getting into. The show was amazing ....until it ran out of book to scrape. Fatman isn't going to live long enough to finish , and he has enough $$$ not to care. He only released 1 book during the whole 8 season run and it featured a chapter of the dwarf ......staring at turtles.
Also, as long as they look cool I don't give a hot damn how many legs/wings a dragon has.

I tried Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater this week.
I remember liking the first one on PS1 back in the 90's.
After skipping through tons of consecutive cut scenes, I finally get to the gameplay, and then after a quick tutorial, I was met with more cut scenes, maybe five more minutes of gameplay, then even more cut scenes.
I just uninstalled it after that.
I think the perfect amount of cut scenes may be Modern Warfare (2007), Dark Souls III, Dead Space, or Halo CE. As minimal as possible, but still there to supplement the story. If anything is cut scene heavy, I just... don't care.
Then I reinstalled Doom 2016 as it has been a few months since I last beat it, and Ive never played it with a powerful graphics card. I set it to 1440p and ultra graphics and WOW. This game looks incredible. Last time I played through it was maybe October on my XSX. It ran at 120 fps, but most likely low graphics. Playing it on ultra graphics makes it look like an entirely different game. I've been living in the stone age.
