The negative reviews on Steam all say similar. The atmosphere and graphics are great but the gameplay is basic and boring. Shame cause I was looking forward to it too.

I dont follow this shit 100% because IDC, but from my recollection he was playing WOW classic hardcore with some other streamers like a year back and he did some shitty thing or something, got some people killed in an instance or whatever ran away like a faggot. all he had to do was say..."Yeah I fucked up, sorry guys." But he basically said he was in the right and everyone was in the wrong, hes a world class WOW player, doubled down on his shitty play, never apologized and this is where everything neg started to come. People started searching into his past. Come to find out he even uses a voice modulator or some shit on his streams to make himself sound more manly. Its cringe all the way down to his voice, lol.

I mean, im sure there are other people streaming and youtubing taking on other personas, totally fake and shit, but they are not self entitled ass holes and no one cares. This dude seems like a fucking douche bag and IMO deserves all the negs he can get.

He also uses a heavily edits his voice to make it sound much deeper than it actually is. Just an all around God tiet narcissist and grifter.

People exist outside of their streams. Pretty hard to keep the filter going in daily life. Better question is how he thought nobody would ever notice.

His issue isn't just that he lies all the time, it's that he doubles down and refuses to come clean no matter how obvious it is that he's lying. He claims the voice thing is because he went through a "second puberty", which is stupid but not impossible. It doesn't make any sense, though, when the live interviews with the higher voice took place after he was already known for having a deep voice.

If he was ever able to say something like "Yeah, I deepen my voice a little bit it's a stream and it sounds better" nobody would care. But he has some sort of personality disorder where can't ever accept the tiniest amount of fault in anything which is why he's just an internet punching bag now

I had heard some of the aforementioned tidbits about the guy, but him being Blizzard QA and that last bit are new bits of lore I did not know about.

As Gavinmad Gavinmad said, him going against Stop Killing Games seemed to be the last I heard from him, and the Blizzard background only makes the perception worse.

I'm not going to cry over the line must go up, modern audience'ing corporations having to figure out their live service blight upon the industry. If they can prepare enough cosmetics that cost as much or more than the entire base game before it even launches (amazing people have been dumb enough to eat that up), then they can prepare for players running their own servers, or even just offline modes/bots. It often feels like older games were more advanced than current ones in some ways.
