I had some neighbors that decided to cut their grass on a Saturday at 7am. The next day I had to get up at 4am and drive to western NC. When I woke up I dragged my lawn mower to the edge of our 2 properties and wired the cut off to the handle & let it run the entire time I showered/packed/etc. When I turned it off I saw a curtain move and I flipped them off.

They didn't do it again.

He didn't do it again.

I had a neighbor once who was pretty quiet and meek but had weird fantasies about "showing people who's boss" on internet message boards. Poor guy seemed pretty lonely. Wonder what happened to him.

I live in a high rise condo, so I would be very confused if one of my neighbors was running a lawnmower.

My parents lived where everyone had 5-10 acres. I was there once walking to their shop and the neighbor was mowing at 3am. You couldn't hear it in the house. I couldn't really hear it but I could see the lights when he would turn. I guess he decided it was cooler than mowing in 100 degree heat. It didn't bother me or my parents. He had guineas that were annoying and when they got a half inch over the fence that was the end of that. Pellet to the head.
