Very boomer of all you guys to be upset about pissing away money and having nothing to show. What’s the problem? Just put it all on USBs guys
Gamestop is fucked lol
Yes I've been a PlayStation fanboy since PS1 and this is the final straw for me along with the insane price increases. I mean $900 for a console with exclusives that aren't very good and now no physical media is just bonkers decision making.well that sucks
can't even say GTA 6 will be the last game i'll ever buy on PS5 and disc either.
oh well, this definitely means no PS6 for me, they have zero worthwhile games anymore and the only reason I still have mine is I buy games at gamestop 2-3x a year with b2g1, play them, and trade them in for basically what i paid. if i can't do that then i'll just wait for deep steam sales
so yeah, thanks Sony for making sure I switch to 100% pc gamer (with some Nintendo on the side I guess)
They are doing it for their own bottom line. Zero other considerations.Yes I've been a PlayStation fanboy since PS1 and this is the final straw for me along with the insane price increases. We all have nice Internet but there are a lot of parts of the world that absolutely cannot use this new model.
But now every game.
The only platform left that will not follow suit will be Nintendo.No. For now it is just every game released on a Playstation console. Studios, and their publisher can still release a physical version for other platforms.
Like half (or more) of their games are already cards that don’t even have the game on them, still have to download. Wouldn’t surprise me if they have something in their ToS that basically says they can decide to stop offering their download whenever they want, and get fucked consumer. The only platform left that will not follow suit will be Nintendo.
