You bastard I've been listening to this all afternoon while I'm packing up boxes. However it's great and I remember all of the good stuff and the bad stuff. It's like I've been transported back to 1999. The dude even brings up macroing, which we used to do all the time I think with EZMacro. Jesus the memories.
It was such a fun game back in the day because there was nothing like it and I never played EverQuest like a lot of you dudes because Ultima Online was my benchmark.

The pics from Atlanta E3, I was there with crack.com and we hung out with the UO people quite a bit. It was a bit surreal.

Never played UO, knew of it of course. I recall something about 'Lord British' forgetting to make himself immortal and the people in the game killing him. Thought that was wild.
But I was 100% an EQ junkie. Pretty much exclusively. The sub did save me a lot of money on video games because I didn't buy many due to all the time required to play EQ.
One of the 1st 'PC' games I bought was the last top down Ultima (don't recall the #) right before the 3d one that was total garbage.

No I worked at crack, we were there for our own game Golgotha, mainly looking for publishers, but I think we had the game running at a booth someone let us use. Like a hardware vendor for headphones or something?
Origin published the previous game called Abuse so we were always very friendly with them, and they invited us along for stuff.
