ac black flag resync'd has sold incredibly well, hitting the top 10 YTD for 2026 games. whatever bullshit gay jogger slop they put out as their next game will flop badly though, and the only re-remaster they have left that can sell well is the Ezio trilogy. I don't think far cry, remaster or new, would sell well either.

the only thing they can do is sell the IPs to china who will restart assassins creed and far cry.

I am sure they did - and the Saudi's saw the bullshit that the devs and producers on Veilguard and ME:A were peddling for ME5 and decided the brand was now too tainted and the entire studio was untrustworthy as well as incompetent. Clean the house. And as always - the devs that did this to themselves, rather than take accountability, don't, and blame "evil corporation" and victimize themselves in one massive pity party rather than take accountability, shut the fuck up, and learn. This is the liberal left way of life now.

Maybe they can all go talk to their therapists who will "Validate" their feelings in their miserable bubble of delusion.

Yeah, Dragon Age Veilguard 'came out' almost exactly two years ago.

What the hell were they doing for that long, and why did EA's executive suite give them that much rope? The least ridiculous thing I can come up with is the buyout talk had started much earlier than publicly admitted, and EA thought it would help their sell price to have as many functioning studios as possible.

Then again, why the Saudis wanted anything other than Sports, Sims, and Dice is beyond me.

Not actually passed (only passed one of the steps), and the tax is on the companies sending content to french users, basically Netflix/Google/Amazon would pay that, not the french consumers. Obviously that'd eventually include price hikes for french users so eventually it would likely come back to that but it's not a direct tax.
